Tell Your Senators that Every Girl Deserves a Future
Ten-year-old Maha’s* life has been turned upside down. After fleeing her home in Syria because of bombing, the school in her new community was bombed two times. Since then, Maha hasn’t been able to return to school. She has dreams of becoming a doctor, but without an education, she may be denied her dreams.
We can’t let that happen to a generation of children! Ensuring access to quality education as soon as children are forced to leave their homes provides them with the opportunity to achieve and reach their full potential.
Urge your senators to cosponsor and pass the bipartisan Protecting Girls’ Access to Education in Vulnerable Settings Act.
