Every 3 seconds a girl under 18 gets married. Every 10 minutes, young girls die of violence. Even more, girls are 2 times less likely to receive even a basic education.
To build a more equal, inclusive future, we need to start addressing these issues with girls in their childhood. When we support girls’ empowerment, we build more stable democracies and economies. We also reduce the violence against girls and increase their educational opportunities.
Send a message to your senators and ask them to cosponsor the Girls Leadership, Engagement, Agency and Development Act (Girls LEAD Act).
