Stop the War on Children Week of Action
Welcome
From October 13 – 19, Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) is organizing the Stop the War on Children (SWOC)
week of action to raise awareness around the challenges children living in war zones face.
Today, nearly 1 in 5 children around the world are living in conflict zones.
Increasingly, schools are being deliberately bombed, torched and destroyed.
In 2017 alone, there were 1,432 attacks on schools verified by the United Nations.
Through the Stop the War on Children Week of Action we will increase awareness and inspire action in
support of a bipartisan resolution calling for an end of attacks on education in war zones.
