We All Care about Child Care! Week of Action
During the week of April 15, Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) is organizing a week of action in support of the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG).
CCDBG is a grant provided to states and territories to provide high-quality child care to low- and middle-income working families.
Organizing around the theme, “We all care about child care,” our week of action will enable us to increase awareness and inspire action in support of funding for CCDBG. The goals of the week of action are:
Raise awareness of the importance of high-quality child care and CCDBG’s role in facilitating that access

Encourage Congress to support greater investment in CCDBG

Develop new or enhance existing partnerships with local community groups
